E3 Sega games
We have sifted through the E3 games coming from Sega, and
are listing the ones that have the most promise to be family
friendly right here.
Charlotte's Web has thrilled families for decades, with its
light hearted nature addressing some very important issues
of life. There is going to be a version of the game to
appear on the Nintendo DS, and Gameboy Advance (the screen
shot to the left is from the Nintendo DS version). The
player can play as Wilbur (the ever lovable pig), or
Templeton (the not as lovable rat). The game includes four
worlds to explore (Zuckerman's barn, the countryside, the
junkyard, and the County Fair). Primary, and secondary
objectives await the player. Plenty of mini-games will be
available for the player to unlock. The Nintendo DS version
will add some fun features using the wireless, movie like
effects, and touch screen. Of these features being able to
feed, bath, and pet Wilbur is of the most interest to those
of us here at FFG. Please note the rating is still pending.
Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to the Sony PSP in Sonic Rivals. This handheld game is a racer where Sonic goes head to head with his toughest competition. Gamers can use all kinds of power-ups, and moves in order to get to the finish line first. While doing that in this 2D game, enjoy the immersive 3D backgrounds. Wireless connections are allowed to play friends, when the computer has gotten too easy.
Super Monkey Ball Adventure is coming to the Nintendo Gamecube, Sony Playstation 2, and Sony PSP. This is a different monkey ball from the previous versions; as it has moved beyond its puzzle roots, and is now part of the popular exploration gameplay. Ten new abilities can be used by the monkeys in their balls: sticky, bounce, speed, hover, wood, tether, scalar, glide, boxing, and invisible. Have no fear hardcore Monkey Ball fans as the smoking party games will still be included. Expect to play sixty levels in five worlds, and fifty puzzles in June 2006.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz will be coming to the Nintendo Wii in the fall of 2006. The popular puzzle game is back, and will include an all new, super cool move - monkey jump. As if that were not cool enough, this game will include boss levels.
